Dr. Audrey Arona

Dr. Audrey Arona, a distinguished figure in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, has devoted over three decades to advancing women's health. After earning her MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, she honed her skills through a rigorous residency at the University of Southern California. In 1992, she was recognized as a fellow by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, marking the beginning of an illustrious career.

Dr. Arona's professional journey is marked by her pivotal role in public health management. As the CEO, chief medical officer, and medical director of GNR Public Health, she oversees Georgia's largest public health district, serving over 1.2 million residents across Gwinnett, Newton, and Rockdale counties. Her leadership was instrumental during the COVID-19 pandemic, where her strategic management earned her the 2020 Physician Champion Award.

In addition to her public service, Dr. Arona co-founded Preferred Women’s Healthcare, where she provided comprehensive care for women, addressing issues from infertility to menopause. Her entrepreneurial spirit also led her to establish Rejuvenation for Women, LLC, which introduced innovative treatments for chronic gynecological conditions.

Beyond her clinical and administrative duties, Dr. Arona maintains memberships in prestigious professional associations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives. Her commitment to community service is evident in her active participation in the Gwinnett County Rotary Club.
